The cherry on the cake was him coming in like a wrecking ball and lashing every Newcastle player near Pickford about 20 yards at the end.

Made a number of good decisions tonight to go in fast and get a foot in before the ball reached the forward. Risky, but not only broke up attacks but kept the crowd up.

I thought he was fantastic, got in trouble with that Pickford pass and if would have ruined a very good performance.

Couple of errors but still spot on and important to us. Him and Branthwaite together are not far off a perfect combination. With Myko on top of his game our defence is almost if not sorted. Remember we had no Garner or Onana so the proof is in the pudding......we are not far off being good
