Probably always in your top 3 for MOTM. Can’t underestimate how important it is to have your centre halves fit for 40 games a season. Our defensive record is absolutely incredible given how much the other team have the ball.

every time there is a kick off on the pitch, he is right in the middle of it shoving everyone about showing he wont be intimidated

Absolutely has been the Jags of this team. Wouldn’t be surprised if we have some bids for him in the summer but need to keep him.

Gives it everything. No doubt it's helped Branthwaite's development this season playing so much together. He was in their box today when we had a chance and seconds later was jumping in for a header back in defence. Had a little dip in form but other than that he's been fantastic.

I like to have these old school defenders in the squad that love the pure art of defending.

Yeah, I am on this page. He ain’t flashy but he’s an effective old school defender. Going to pivotal to us staying up next season, don’t want him anywhere near the England squad (even if he made the squad, there’s more chance of Southgate kitting up than Tarks).

Of course he has mate.

Thats not to say you are wrong, but age can certainly affect his game.

But hes only "young" for a CB anyway.

Tarks, Branthwaite and Stones should be Englands 1st choice centre backs. With Stones being a bit iffy fitness wise, our 2 should be starting. Especially when you consider the relationship they have with Englands No1 keeper. But it will be Stones and Maguire.

He definitely does deserve to go but I'm not sure his robust style of defending will go down well with foreign refs. I hope he does go and I hope he smashes people all over the gaff and has a great time.
