Leno? No no no 100,000 times no. Plenty of better keepers in the Bundesliga, he's erratic, makes mistakes and we need a keeper who would put confidence into our defence. Leno wouldn't do that, I agree a German keeper is the right way to go, but not Leno.

I am told were hugely interested in Ikechi Anya from Watford.

Not bad to be honest. He is one of our (Scotland's) better players but I guess that can't really be called a compliment at the moment.

He's got pace, a bit of skill and can score a decent goal or two. He works hard for the team and could be a game winner from the bench if we signed him. He'd already have a decent chemistry and understanding with Naismith too.

I think he is at his peak though, at 26 I can't see him improving and becoming a key player. Perhaps Martinez can get something new out of him (just like Naismith).
