I'd try a cheeky bid for Cech.
Heard any deal for him would sum up to about £30m odd mate.
Not just his fee but wages, agent fees and that.
It is only the Mirror, so will believe it when I see it!
I googled deulofeu when I read he was having a bad time at sevilla, and found the quote from RM which shook me for 2 reasons. 1st it sounded negative which is something you don't associate with Roberto and 2 it's the reason I put on why his team mates were rounding on him in his early day's at everton, something you very rarely see in professional football. I think Roberto has since come out and said he lost his heart to Deulofeu so that's nice. When was that quote? I seem to remember it but can't find it.
Who knows. He certainly didn't trust him enough in the bigger games but I think Martinez recognizes his talent. The other thing was when he came first he was the "next Messi" - his scoring record at youth level was brilliant and he had just been voted the best player in the 2nd division.
If he was a Balotelli character I would say we would be best to stay well away but he's not. He's someone that could be managed into a more complete player.
I agree. I feared that a tough coach like Emery wouldn't be right for him. Some players respond better to different styles of management and the tough love approach of Enrique and Emery doesn't seem to have worked for Geri, at least so far this season. One Barca watcher I follow said "@RafaelH117: Deulofeu need a coach that’s willing to give him attention, or he’s lost."
Deulofeu certainly said lots of complimentary things about martinez in his interviews, even if it doesn't get him back here hopefully might make someone like Adama Traore keen on a loan move.
Not a chance they're selling Hazard. He's their Messi.Real or Chelsea, in my opinion.
I still think back to when Hazard's wife was saying that she longed to return to France, and that he would go whenever it took to make her happy. I've had a feeling ever since that Chelsea will eventually bid for Reus and they'll appease FFP by selling Hazard to PSG.
