Our main problem is an outlet when we have the ball, theres no freaking movement, after Distin and Jags have passed it about for 20minutes and Barry drops back to pick it up theres nobody to pass to.

O, for sure MG I can't argue with that, it's when we don't have the ball that we look like a pub team at the moment.

Well a creative centre mid.

Only got Barkley and Osman.
 
surely defence has got to the priority..i know we LACK creative midfielder and a left winger, but we are still scoring goals
 
CB - I'd be looking at Reid, Otamendi or Jantschke from Gladbach. Someone 24-26 who can form a decent partnership with Stones over the next couple of years.

CM - I'd be looking for a player who can set a decent tempo and hold a position next to McCarthy/Baines/Barkley, like Pizarro, Mario Lemina or even someone like Seb Larsson, who I've always thought would suit a deeper position.

Winger - I'd be looking for someone who can play an incisive passes. Max Kruse, Pablo Sarabia, even someone like James Ward-Prowse who can just play a decent pass and take a [Poor language removed] free kick
 

It will all come down to what SYSTEM martinez wants to play that will decide who comes in.

Ideally a Winger and CB is all we need but due to martinezs persistance with shoving barkley out wide and Naismith behind the striker will we get one? We also need a CAM if barkley isn't playing there as Naismith isn't good enough in that position and we can't keep using lukaku wrong.
 
For a team that is shipping goals the priority has got to be at least one centre back (left sided) and a new goalkeeper. Forget flair players, until the sieve of a defence is sorted out we are looking at the prospect of a relegation dog-fight. Does Martinez have the trust of the directors ? If he does he needs funds in the transfer window.

we all must be assuming that he wont be ditching his "system"...that would not be logical in any way.
so thats why this window will be extremely interesting.

does he go in with the lube or not...thats the main question. lubeless action means milkman flies off the FF like a javelin...
 
Januzai (sp) on loan is doing the rounds. Meant be agreed and ready asap for the window opening.

Could be good for us you know.
