Al-Habsi isn't as bad as people are suggesting.....certainly as good if not better than Howard currently. A short term contract would work well as there'd be no commitment long term from Everton, and Al Habsi would be firmly in the shop window with the chance of a decent contract. He's the Beckham of Oman....plenty of money there, and football mad. Could be a sensible little transaction. I know he's a top class trainer from a guy who was his coach at Bolton....always reckoned he was technically better than Jaaskelinen when they were there.
Sensible in that we need him for January and he's playing for his country all that month?!
