Lads its the first week of November. Let's swerve the anxiety ridden virgin begging for galacticos that never come.

Any chance of locking this until, oh let me think, the first of January?
Everyone knows this thread is all pretend though right? Spending time in this thread is like spending a dollar on a lotto ticket...you know it'll never happen but it can still be a fun fantasy. Not too much different from the anxiety ridden hand wringing in the player threads regarding current form/transfer out rumors/injuries/best player/etc.

the Mirror has us linked to this kid, don't know anything about him myself. Sounds like a Bobby type of signing though. Young, English, and with lots of potential and room for development.

He is a big talent. Been a favourite with the scum for a long time. Hell of a grafter and really has bags of potential. Closest comparison in our side would be Barkley crossed with McCarthy...which is obviously exciting.

How does he compare to Fabian Delph? Are they similar types of players or is Mowatt a bit more attack minded?

Mowatt has the potential to score 5 - 10 goals a year in the Championship. Always has the vision to have a crack when space opens up. Sits in the middle of the park and dictates pace of the game, but isn't afraid to take the game to the opposition.

I'd be excited to get him. Would replace Barry with ease.

Let the hype officially begin!

Burnley are not happy with us tapping up George Boyd. His head has been turned by our interest.

Boyd played for my home town before going to Burnley, very good when on his game...but there is the problem. Definately better out there
