That will be sickening and so stupid. There are better ways to D/W what he has supposedly done than line him up for dismissal. If he goes this will be a big shot in the foot for us. I see him and Shaw being England's RB for many years.

Really don't see what all the fuss is about Shaw at moment. Potential yes. £30million?? No.

Could a deal for Garbutt have been done by 28th Dec? Would that not mean an illegal approach between 2 clubs from same league?

Yes, but if either party does not complain then nothing will surface or be done!

Barry and Gibson are fine for cover. At a stretch we've also got other players who can play there.
 
Garbutt will go somewhere where he'll walk straight into the first team, he has to at the age of 21/22. Why do you all think he would he swap our bench for Liverpool's just for the sake of it?

Check the threads. I've been one of Martinez' biggest supporters and could even except losing McCarthy to bring someone like Shakiri but I wouldn't accept losing McCarthy for an inferior older player.
