what exactly could we buy with a measly £2.5m? nothing near eto'o attributes that's for sure.
 

Big wages are his drawback. I would prefer to give a youngster a decent chance.

Also where would he play? Besic, Barry, mcCarthy, Baines plus a youngster are enough to cover the midfield defensive duties

You mean the player alex ferguson, one of if not the greatest ever football managers rated and played in his championship winning team?

Or the one that played under david moyes, the manager sacked for being crap there and not making any player look good?
