One of our 'better' (used losely) ITKs is talking Lennon & Kaboul in exchange for McCarthy......... bucket of salt & all that.......

Was amazing last season by all means but before that season and after I haven't heard any reports of him pulling up trees. He's a very reliable goalkeeper but personally I'd like to see us have a bit more of an adventurous side when looking into goalkeepers. My only reasoning for signing someone like Neto/Karius > Marshall is that they have a considerable sell on value compared to Marshall.

If we let McCarthy go mate it would be to replace him with another ceontral midfielder. Ala Fellaini replaced by him.

But we need McCarthy a hell of a lot more than ever though so i think he is one of the only unsellable players we have.

You's can have Alcaraz though.

I think he's the one player he'd like to keep hold of above everyone.

Had a great game against us last season, personally i dont rate him any higher than Howard (although we do need a change), I would much rather see us spend on a keeper in his mid 20's for the long term. Buying players in their 30's only means you need to spend say 6m roughly on a replacement every few years.

Stones, Barkley, Coleman, Lukaku, McCarthy
or
Eto'o, Kone, Alcaraz, Barry ???

I tend to agree but got shut down very quickly

If there's any incoming it has to be there. GK we can just about soldier on with....ditto winger positions.
