Personally don't think we're after a keeper in this window anymore. Reckon he'd seen enough from Joel these last few games and thinks him and Howard will be good enough till the summer when more targets become available and negotiations aren't rushed. That's why he keeps saying he won't sign a keeper for the sake of it.

can't wait for the new DVD to come out alongside "tha magnificent seventh" called "Forgetting David Marshall"

Surely £15m would get him? He wouldn't be able to play in Europe though would he which would be a bit naff.
Wolfsburg aren't short of money though with the VW connection but don't follow German football mich so no real idea on typical transfer fees.

Good point on the Europa, Deulofeu who I would also love to get, would face a similar problem and think he also might have been registered for two clubs anyway making him ineligble for this window.

McCarthy has told his nearest and dearest that he would be open to a Spurs move but that it would take a big money bid to get Everton to part and he wouldn't push it until summer out of respect for Martinez and the fans.

Everton: Turnover: 9th in league, £86m - Wage bill: 10th highest, £63m - Wages as proportion of turnover: 73%
West Ham: Turnover: 8th in league, £91m - Wage bill: 14th highest, £56m - Wages as proportion of turnover: 62%[/QUOTE]
Difference there is our players have been far better than theres for a number of yrs, so better plrs = more wages. Plus the fact you put the %up look at the money earned and spent ,earned 86mil us 91mil them difference 5 mil for them then look at the wage bill us 63mil them 56 mil.
From turnover to wage thats a difference of 2mil in there favour, and yet we still way above them in the league. This season so far they doing ok but lets face it there still shiote an if we keep our core we will be awesome in a couple of yrs

No big player's leaving in January, this means 1 will likely be sold in Summer to fund more signing's then. Who are our most saleable player's Coleman 25 m McCarthy 30 Stones 30?? Barkley 50?? Of the 4 who would we must like sold (I know we shouldn't sell anyone before my head is bitten off) my money would be on Coleman, Rb not as an important position, We seem to have an abundance in the youth team Pennington and JJ Kenny. Looking back we maybe should have cashed in on Baines giving Garbutt's obvious class.

Keeper was alway's my priority but Joel has been impressive enough so far, Winger should be first priority now.
Going to get my head bit of for this but I think Barkley if we can get anything near 50mil cos for me I don't think he is gonna be anywhere near as good as the potential he has no doubt got, to me he just does'nt seem to have the right mentality

This is apparently the agent of Eto'o, Claudio Vigorelli, at the Sampdoria game the other day.
