is he injured or healthy at the moment?

He may well be "Medically fit" but he's totally not arsed. Stealing money every week.

no money involved, free transfer and he's fitter than Gibbo

I'm fitter than Gibbo

I am leaning towards this, only that means putting faith in Robles and needing to keep Howard, therefore missing the opportunity to flog him asap..

If we don't flog Howard before this upcoming MLS season we wont get decent money for him in future.

Everyone saying that we need a keeper who is good at comanding his area and gopd at coming for crosses cos our 2 are awful at it. My question is are there any keepers that do that nowadays, and is'nt it more a case of stopping the crosses coming in. De Gea looks world class as does Lloris and the Chelsea keepers, but how many crosses dp they have to deal with compared to ours. We never seem to be able to stop a cross coming in do that and I think we will be ok in that department until atleast the

Ehm...isn't Eto'o his own agent?

According to the Forbes website, as well as other sources, it's this Claudio Vigorelli feller. And apparently, that's him in the Sampdoria crowd the other night.

I don't know, normally you can just tell when a story is a load of crap but this seems to have some truth to it to me. Hopefully nothing comes of it, as I'd rather he stayed.

They would have to pay us a fee so depends on what the club thinks is reasonable.

Eto'o isn't really doing much for us truth be told.

My memory may be failing me but as I remember De Gea looked very dodgy when he first came to the Prem and has turned that around.

Is it too much to hope that Robles could do the same? He did not look horrible against Man City.[/QUOTE]

Based on absolutely nothing at all, other than the fact that Martinez previously managed Wigan, the only goalkeeper I see joining in January is Ali Al-Habsi.

ah yes, the game where he tore them apart so badly they almost didn't get a clean sheet
Ha ha ha! Just because a player didn't score doesn't mean he had a bad game. There were 9 other players who could of chipped in with a goal, however I did see him turn a Chelsea team inside out. I liked the look of him & he plays on the wing or attacking midfield & I think he would do well under Martinez.

McCarthy has told his nearest and dearest that he would be open to a Spurs move but that it would take a big money bid to get Everton to part and he wouldn't push it until summer out of respect for Martinez and the fans.

Is it the London life because Spurs are not the most attractive proposition? I would have thought Arsenal would have a bid and that is where I would go if I was McCarthy.
Perhaps pigs will fly & we'll win the Europa so he'll stay and be joined by a host of "big name" players .... :)
