From what I could see on YouTube I have to agree. Looks like he has pace and nothing else.Watched Edgar for Almeria against Valencia tonight, nothing special.

No one is irreplaceable however getting a player who isn't cup tied for EL and is of sufficient quality will be difficult. Are people forgetting how unbelievably good coleman was last season.... no sale for me... he would be irreplaceable I thinkk
Pretty uninspiring names aren't they? Real let down. Sounds like we are losing better than bringing in.So we are going to release Eto'o for nothing to save wages and sell Seamus to ManUre, Boberto needs a bit of a plan here, given the state we are in there will be serious backlash, I don't believe Montoya is in the same league as Seamus as a replacement, or the guy Fellugi, who was touted last week.
I did hear he was looking at Troare again but guess what, he is injured.
Edgar is absolute gash, and Aaron Lennon is just an English McGeady, not enjoying this at all.
Reminds me a Walter Smith times when he was after Dean Windass.........

It's hard not to get the feeling we're going backwards. 6 months seems a long time ago.Pretty uninspiring names aren't they? Real let down. Sounds like we are losing better than bringing in.
You are correct. Like another world. Unbelievable, even in Everton standards, how things have gone sour for the Club and manager in 6 months. It's hard not to get the feeling we're going backwards. 6 months seems a long time ago.
Always look on the bright side eh KithnouPretty uninspiring names aren't they? Real let down. Sounds like we are losing better than bringing in.
Hmm..Don't mistake realism as negativity. I prefer to call things as they are rather than sugar coat things and pretend things are better than they are. As in the real world, I appreciate most can't understand that.Always look on the bright side eh Kithnou
Coleman himself and Besic more recently came out of nowhere, perhaps we will get some more like that. We have also got a couple of promising youngsters.
but people are basing it on this season, not last and he has looked a little disinterested.
shame if he forces a move because we were patient with him for years and gave him his chance in this country and martinez took him on last season and made him into a great goalscoring RB (he scored 0 the season before!) - wouldn't be great loyalty and that's mainly why i don't really want him here if he really doesn't want to be.
If you're a quality player, getting into your prime, and you've been at a club 5+ seasons without winning anything...if a club comes in that will double your wages with the chance of champions league football, they'll go.
Nothing to with loyalty. A player can't stay for decades unless you're successful.
If the Coleman and Mirallas go it is because they want to leave, not us pushing them out and for Coleman at least we will get good money to spend elsewhere or he won't be sold.Hmm..Don't mistake realism as negativity. Anyways, you are pleased that despite the Manager giving us spin when he started that we are not a selling club anymore, we are about to continue to sell our best players 6 months later to United?
Why do we keep having our best players wanting to leave? That is my point. Good players don't usually ask to leave a club with ambition and looking like going somewhere. If the Coleman and Mirallas go it is because they want to leave, not us pushing them out and for Coleman at least we will get good money to spend elsewhere or he won't be sold.
All teams lose players, both good and bad, it is only the occasional player that stays at a club for more than five years same as the "real world" where people move jobs far more than they used to. For some teams it works out, like it has for Southampton this season, others less so.
I survived Lineker being sold to Barca when he had just won the Golden Boot so tbh nothing really gets me down too long now!
