where would he be now if we flogged him off 2 years ago after he'd done nothing in his first 3 years? 1 good season and someone should always look to move to a bigger club?

He was nominated for PFA young player of the year in 2011 when he broke into the first team in his 3rd season. He's progressively got better every season since.

He's 26. Been 1st choice full back for 4 seasons. He's developed and given a lot to us. He's not a one season wonder. So he's got a choice to make if a club comes in.

Wheres he going with us?

Mirallas is the same. Lukaku will be next. Barkley after.

Unless we win things, they'll all go after 5+seasons.

If Coleman goes , the money could be used to invest in that Montoya and Deulofeu and possibly money left over. Time to rebuild I think.

Why do we keep having our best players wanting to leave? That is my point. Good players don't usually ask to leave a club with ambition and looking like going somewhere.
We looked like that club 6 months ago. Gone back to being basket case so soon. You think we will be an attractive proposition to class players this Summer when we can't keep our few?

From what I could see on YouTube I have to agree. Looks like he has pace and nothing else.

You can normally make anyone look good on YouTube, he even looks average on there.

There's no way we're spending 20m on a RB so I wouldn't worry plus Barca would never sell with the ban in place.

Problem is we keep replacing, rather than adding to. So our squad doesn't get big and strong enough to sustain a CL push. Going around in circles chasing our tails...
