It will take a few off seasons to strengthen. But we fan't keep losing our top players though as said above we are going nowhere. We lose Coleman and Mirallas this summer. Barkley and someone next ( as an example). Going nowhere constantly filling gaps rather than strengthening.

But .. but ... Roberto told us that we're no longer a selling club.

** tears at being duped

I'm told that the club have booked a Portuguese interpretor for Monday
It's finally happening isn't it....

Or, we're getting rid of Eto'o to make way for his old team mate...

Eto'o is as good as gone, Mirallas is waiting till the summer, Garbett is counting down his contract to leave on a free, now fans want Coleman gone and will take £30m for Barkley!

Jesus what has happened to our season and senses!

We want the best for Everton but selling our best player doesn't mean we will replace them with better because let's face it pretty much any money we get now will go towards "Operation Stadium Part 3: The F#ck Up Returns"

Why did our fans get so irate when we changed the badge to lose the logo on our crest if we are just happy to go with it?

Nothing but the best is good enough UNLESS we make a bit of cash

25mil+ is a lot of money for a right back, Shaw is English and they can get a decade out of him so of course a bit more based on potential.

Mirallas isnt signing an extension. Thats pretty clear.

If it was me, I'd sell them both +get in Depay and Deulofeu and possibly Byram.

Thats a bit more phenomenal.
It's not football manager. Deulofeu won't go anywhere for a year due to Barca's ban and Depay would never come here.

We can't sell Coleman or Mirallas until the summer. It would essentially screw is in the league and even if we don't get relegated the amount we would make from Mirallas' sale now rather than the summer would be lost in prize money. It would also definitely end any even slim chance of EL which and I know it's a long shot but if we where to win that the season would be a huge success and set us up for years. The way we're going we won't have another chance of getting into the CL for 5 years, slim or not slim.

We need to buy a left winger, someone who isnt cup tied and a quality one and bin Naismith and McGeady to the bench. Both turn over possession far too much to play at the top level. They're both impact subs at best.

We should be going for Shurrle however I can't see him coming either.

I have to laugh at juvenile suggestions that Coleman will go because he was Utd 'fan' as a lad. As a factor in any decision he might choose to make at any time in the future I would suggest that would be at the bottom.
Rooney's family has season tickets and he was off as soon as he could. It makes no difference. It's their career and that's it.

If you look at Southampton, who have spent wisely, who would have thought losing your core of players would have them challenging at the top end of the table.

Why do we keep having our best players wanting to leave? That is my point. Good players don't usually ask to leave a club with ambition and looking like going somewhere.
We looked like that club 6 months ago. Gone back to being basket case so soon. You think we will be an attractive proposition to class players this Summer when we can't keep our few?

You seem intelligent, albeit a tad too negative for me, so I struggle to understand why you don't understand why players leave Everton (and other clubs too), so here's a little clue :

££££££
€€€€€€€
$$$$$$$$$

The first two are sometimes referred to as "Champions League ambitions"......
