seen that too, love mirallas, great player, but dortmund/atleti level, i'm not too sure. he'd be backup at both i think as well and that would sort of be his level. he has been fantastic this season though.

Think he would get in the Dortmund side if they eventually lose Reus in the summer, but your right about Atletico, he would be back up there, but he wants CL and to play in Spain at some point, which Atletico would be able to give him so he'd go there anyway I reckon.

But for us, he's gonna take some replacing. We need someone on the right just as good or with the potential to be as good or better to compliment him, but if we lose him, it'll be 2 top players we need for out wide!

But didn't he have a pretty serious knee injury after that. He might not be the same player. If you are a large part why a team has gone 15 hours or something stupid without scoring then perhaps we should swerve.
By that logic you would turn down Benteke as well though.

Think if Cleverley came he would be as an Osman replacement, including getting his abuse, we need someone who can cover a few positions but not necessarily be first choice in any one. Some of the games Cleverley has played in for Villa he has been good and some dreadful, but being a new player in a struggling team isn't the easiest task.

I was a bit more hopeful in the summer than I am now that his signing would work out for us. But don't think we are going to able to afford to replace all of Osman, Pienaar, Atsu (and perhaps Mirallas )with top draw replacements, let alone other areas like goalkeeper. So given he will be on a free and he wants to work with Martinez again can understand why we might hire him.

Money makes the world to round.

Money is a byproduct of success. Successful people aren't driven by money alone. If they where they would never make it. The agents job is to get his client the best deal which means the club he wants to go to and then as much money as he can.

Some players cash in at some point with moves to the Middle East or Russia but if it was all about the money the German and Spanish leagues wouldn't be dominating Europe.

You don't have to be successful to make money....taking the argument of many on here that McGeady, Jagielka, Distin, Howard et al are "sh1te" I'm sure you'd be impressed with the bank balances they've accrued with not a huge amount of success
