Guys, is there any truth in these Rickie Lambert stories replacing Eto'o, isn't he about 33 and a huge reds fan, on saying that so was Peter Reid :)

I still think we should try and beat the [Poor language removed] to signing Mat Ryan.... would be a great long term keeper.... couldn't be more than 10mil surely??
I'm sure he wont leave Bruges this window . They can make more money by keeping him and winning the league.

Deulofeu's assist today. Who could do that in our squad apart from Mirallas? Barkley *could* but probably won't for a while.

Please sign him Martinez. Break the bank.
I've never seen Barkley do anything of the sort. Deulofeu on the other hand actually can pass well forward into space whenever he's surrounded. He's just tends to be too cocky and do it himself instead however I've seen improvements under Emery. Oh god I've a horrible feeling he's going to tear La Liga up in the second half of the season especially if he's learnt to be more of a team player. If that happens it was good while it lasted but he's never coming back.

btw - We're never getting Deulofeu in this window.

What happened to him not getting any game time at Sevilla?
He's slowly getting more and more. Made 20 appearances (11 starts), for a total of 967 minutes, in all competitions. Only played the full 90 three times so far.

By comparison, McGeady has made 21 appearances for us (15 starts), racking up 1,334 minutes. Also only played the full 90 three times, but has been taken off with less than ten minutes to go on 3 occasions too.

Respective production? McGeady: 1 goal, 5 assists, three yellows..... Deulofeu: 3 goals, 9 assists, one yellow.

I'd say Deulofeu still has a little way to go, but if we don't get him this year we're probably never going to get him at all.
