Just throwing it out there. What if we dont sign anyone and end up at the end of march in the bottom 3 with injuries to key players again and no sign of anyone to come in and turn it round?

Would Martinez be doomed for saying we dont need anyone?

Actually more to the point here, we dont need anyone, im sorry roberto i forgot we were 15 points clear of the league with a team that real madrid are jealous of. Of course we need players, our team isnt good enough right now injuries or not. Sign some bloody players in!

Well he currently has more assists this season than most of our players

Steady on mate, don't let facts cloud your judgement.

Il take any players that can run Down wings take people on pick a pass and shoot! ( good ones with dodgy names please )

That was the reason I decided Bilyaletdinov was going to be better than Kanchelskis even before I watched his YouTube.

What a name.

Everton Make Their Move For Real Madrid Starlet Jesé Rodríguez

DANIEL CAWEVERTON, FOOTBALL, REAL MADRID0 COMMENTS

Everton have made their move for Real Madrid starlet Jesé Rodríguez.

Following the departure of Samuel Eto’o to Sampdoria, and the Romelu Lukaku’s alarming dip in form, Blues manager Roberto Martinez is keen bolster his striking options.

According to reports in tomorrow’s Spanish newspapers, the young attacker is keen on a loan move to the Premier League as he continues to recover from long-term injury.

Rodriguez, 21, showed tremendous promise last season, and even kept Gareth Bale out of the Madrid starting line-up for periods.

But he has struggled to break back into the Madrid team after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a Champions League match against Schalke in March last year.

A potentially large loan fee could be a stumbling block, but it’s thought that the hierarchy at Madrid think Martinez could create an environment for Rodríguez to thrive in after Gerard Deulofeu’s impressive development whilst on loan at Goodison Park from Barcelona last season

Jese was a fantastic player last year before his injury - I watched loads of games he played. He was probably the best young attacking player in the world apart from Pogba in my opinion however an ACL injury is an injury players rarely come back the same from.

However as a loan and given Madrid's predilection to gallacticos it would be a great move for us. No real risk and even a reasonable chance of making it permanent.

Berbatov would be a disaster. Goodison has been impatient enough without adding a striker than strolls around the pitch into the mix.
I can certainly see the point people would have with Berbatov but his quality and guile is what we are lacking. I would prefer a winger for no other reason that I can't see Barkley playing centrally if Berbatov plays unless Martinez plays him alongside either Besic, McCarthy or Barry which 1) I don't trust Barkley there, 2) It guarantees two of our best players, Besic and McCarthy not playing and both if Barry does and 3) It still doesn't solve our wing problem.

With that said. It's a swerve for me.

I'll say this then...Moyes definitely has an eye for talent far superior than the current Manager it seems
It was always his greatest strength and why over time we might end up going backwards without him. He did dither a bit but when you have a small budget that's not necessarily a bad thing although when you hear about how we missed out on Bony that's hard to understand.

Lol bet you James is thanking his lucky stars
In reality. Porto always get these players. They're a champions league team playing in a lovely city with beautiful weather (I was there on holiday last year) at the top of a major league playing the same style as in Spain where most good players want to end up especially those from South America.
