Everton Make Their Move For Real Madrid Starlet Jesé Rodríguez
JANUARY 29TH, 2015DANIEL CAWEVERTON, FOOTBALL, REAL MADRID0 COMMENTS
Everton have made their move for Real Madrid starlet Jesé Rodríguez.
Following the departure of Samuel Eto’o to Sampdoria, and the Romelu Lukaku’s alarming dip in form, Blues manager Roberto Martinez is keen bolster his striking options.
According to reports in tomorrow’s Spanish newspapers, the young attacker is keen on a loan move to the Premier League as he continues to recover from long-term injury.
Rodriguez, 21, showed tremendous promise last season, and even kept Gareth Bale out of the Madrid starting line-up for periods.
But he has struggled to break back into the Madrid team after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury during a Champions League match against Schalke in March last year.
A potentially large loan fee could be a stumbling block, but it’s thought that the hierarchy at Madrid think Martinez could create an environment for Rodríguez to thrive in after Gerard Deulofeu’s impressive development whilst on loan at Goodison Park from Barcelona last season

Martinez would play him as a 10, you know he would. Then he could revive the dreaded three number 10s formation.Unless Berbatov has become a top creative attacking mid recently there's no point.

You see, even if total bollocks, these are the types of moves I want Roberto to become known for! Use that Continental/Latin charm to try and bring these types to the club
