Whilst I admit we do need a quality winger, could we not try Garbutt/Oviedo at LB and give Baines the licence in left wing as his defensive qualities seem in decline but is a massive weapon going forward.

Ah heck, just sign Kono.

That idea is much more preferable than shoving either Barkley or Naismith out there.

Even today, the wingers we had out there in Mirallas and McGeady didn't have good games, but we still looked a much more balanced side playing two natural wingers in wide positions, and Naismith just behind Lukaku.

A top class winger is certainly needed, or preferably a wide creative midfilder a la Pienaar in his pomp.

Liked the reaction of Martinez and all the players and staff after the game, looks like the trip away may have done wonders for moral?!!
