I don't understand your confusion. I didn't say he's been good this season. I said he's not the type of person who would feign injury to force a move to a league he doesn't want to play in just to get out of playing for a team having a poor run of form.

Last season yes, this season no. Baines in particular has been playing almost like a central midfielder with the winger providing the width. This has been very noticable recently.

You don't need to add the numbers. The club stated in their final year accounts we made a 20 odd million profit last year after Lukaku etc.

We have a stadium that needs built. Even the work around the plans and everything else related to the project requires a huge amount of money and that's before any building begins. Who do you think is going to pay for that?

If the money isn't spent either this window or the summer it's because they're using it to fund the plans for the new stadium. If that happens I wouldn't be surprised if a few big names go.

And tbh mate, they would be best of doing that imo. We're not going to get investors to help us out with a new stadium, so why not use the new tv money?

It's an extra £30m revenue a season we never had before so we'd be wise enough to keep putting some aside towards the new stadium.

And I thought the accounts were done before the summers transfer activity and we recorded a £20m+ profit before we signed likes of Lukaku?!
