Cardiff make DOUBLE loan move for Everton youngsters Conor McAleny and Matthew Kennedy

CARDIFF CITY are trying to sign Everton duo Conor McAleny and Matthew Kennedy on loan.

By Chris McKenna

2nd February 2015

PROSPECT: Conor McAleny has made one first team appearance for Everton this season [GETTY]

The Championship club are keen to bring the duo in to inspire a rise up the table and bolster their squad.

McAleny, 22, has made just one first-team appearance for the Toffees this season.

Kennedy, 20, has been on loan at Hibernian this season and made 16 appearances before returning to Goodison Park.

The Bluebirds are hoping to get a deal done before tonight's deadline

i don't work for everton, but i have friends who do.

That coincided with the fact every manager no matter what they say are nearly almost working towards getting in signings today, some more than others

In what capacity may I ask? Because I work for Everton, often at Finch Farm, and hear absolutely nothing 99% of the time. Secrets are much better kept these days.

Good moves for them that, and hopefully it means at least 1 more attacking player coming in for us
