I hope no one signs anyone, and those absolute belters at SSN have to spend the next 8 hours talking absolute nonsense about nothing, whilst trying to make transfer day into some sort of half witted "event" with their stupid Yellow theme and idiot pundits pretending they know that Cheltenham signing a Bristol City defender on loan is "Good business for both clubs"

They make me puke Sky.

TBH I still wish I had Sky over here in the US. At least it'd be something to watch... As it stands the only deadline day show we get starts at 6 PM (11 PM in England) by which time the window's shut

So the Echo is saying.

- Howard could return this weekend for the derby, making the chase for a keeper much less urgent but If we are to complete any business today they believe this would be the most likely area.

- All the Januzaj stuff was most likely just bs. It's "highly unlikely" we'd sign him.

-Looking for a creative midfielder to replace the gap Ossie has left, say it's worth keeping an eye on but very "thin" chances of it happening.

- Mirallas won't be going anywhere, for now. Tottenham are keen and probably will come back in for him in the summer window but we do have the option to add an extra 12 months onto his contract.
It's looking increasingly likely that Januzaj was just to placate the fans for not getting someone or even attempting to get someone we all know we need.

Tom Cleverley will remain at Aston Villa for the rest of the season, but is expected to join Everton in the summer.

Reports that United demanded Villa pay a £7million buyout fee or risk seeing the midfielder recalled to Old Trafford have been dismissed by a United source.

Sportsmail understands that the Bradford-born 25-year-old is keen on linking with Roberto Martinez at Goodison Park and is set to do so at the end of the season following the expiration of his contract.
