No signings in, chance of McAleny and Kennedy going on loan to Cardiff though. EFC did have money but Martinez didn't see any potential deals as value for money.

I'm not saying Mcgeady is great but lennon isn't any better. Wouldn't be an improvement. Atsu is also a young player on loan who is only going to improve. Lennon is what he is, all pace with no end product

Well it's just opinions mate. Personally think Lennon is a good player
They have not 'played outwide'.

They have played left or right of the attacking three yes.

How often are they on the 'wing' though? Or in crossing positions that a winger should be? Never.

They are not wingers. And do not play on the wing.

That's half our sodding problem. No width.

*note - I am not advocating the signing of Aaron sodding Lennon with this post.

*another note - is it me or did AIDS not do that bad at the weekend?

What are you talking about.....

left and right of Center is wide No? It's not central where they should be playing!

It's the same posistion that McGeady Atsu and Delefoe occupied last season. As I said ok they might not be playing hugging the touchline but they are occuping the wide rolls. It's been a massive problem this season.

Think your just being argumentative...

I am not mate.

I only really noticed it properly when I went to Saints Everton.

Barkley when played left or right of the midfield three does not play on the wing.

He spends the entire game drifting into the middle. Which leads to another problem that it gets so so over crowded in the there it makes it impossible.

You are right in one way that Barkley or Naismith shouldn't play there. But they do not play on the wing. You could just about say 'left midfield' but even that is a stretch as they spend so much of the game in the middle.

How many times have you seen them in crossing positions?
