Now Walcotts all but done who do we want next? Realistically at the start of the window we were weak in 5 key areas:

CF - signed
RW - signed
CM
LB
CB

Realistically assuming we bring in only 1 more signing at most for me it has to be the LB.

long term we need to be looking at getting a CB and CM ready for the summer - Schneirderlin has been a disgrace this season and could generate £15-20 million from a sale to reinvest in the squad. Dendoncker would be a fantastic signing in that regard.

Is a player with years of CL-level experience who scored 19 goals in all comps last year really better than either of two players who have never had an impact in a PL game? I'm going to say 'yes'.
You're probably right, but my point is that Everton can stay up without spending 20 million on a player for what is a short
term rescue job.

I don't agree with you about Lookman and Vlasic never having had an impact in a PL game. If those players had been used
more often instead of having slow players filling in, out of position in Siggy's case, we would have more than 27 points, imo.

Any player left of the left central defender but kind of in the area behind any left winger that we would sometimes choose to play, still on the pitch mind you, that is where I would kindly and with all respect ask the higher powers in charge to bring forth a saviour kind of.....bed now!!!!!

Honestly, you may be right. What's more concerning to me is that we paid 20M and a huge salary to a wing without even playing the ones we had. If needed a wide forward so badly, why didn't we play one?

I think we should only do a left back, but carry on shifting deadwood. Just get that LB and let some of the younger players carry on developing, we dont want to go to many players incase it gives them less game time

Newsflash!
We are not signing a Left Back.... BFS already announced Garbutts joining the first team until Leighton returns. Ugly but get over it!
Tosun and Walcott in to add striking power - done
BFS won’t let any of the defenders go as we only have 4 Centre backs and one right back (Cuco ineligible due to ability) so any outs would be some of the wide players that we never pick - Lennon, Vlassic, Lookman, Bolasie
Or a CM - Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Klassen, Davies, Guye
Certainly not Sir Wayne or Siggy.
Of that lot perhaps Lennon and McCarthy goes and Lookman and Klassen loans
With one solid midfielder from Europe and one 17 year old from Division 2.
There you go.....
Call me Hawtrydamus!

Now that we have sorted all of that, theres only one thing to spend the rest of the window doing. Getting a LB. Its the only thing that "needs" to be done, and the only thing truly important. Everyone there should be completely focused on that for every hour of the day.

You have ONE job Everton.

If those slow players you mention hadn't have had to be played out of position to cover the most useless left back i have ever seen at our club, we would have more than 27 points.

Get a decent one in, play players ,like Siggy, in the position they were bought to play in and we would have more than 27 points.
