Players do talk to each other like... I wouldn't want to play for us right now. (My left foot isn't the best either to be fair..)

The window is still open and Baines still exists. And Allardyce has already said he needed to get players out before he can bring players in (Need the space to register players in the squad).

On the surface its obvious, look a bit deeper though and you have the issue that Baines will be back soon enough (he is still serviceable at least) and you have a world cup year so loads of players will be wary about moving clubs at this stage (Back ups may want game time but they are probably back ups for a reason generally..) and we may have someone in mind for the summer (Max for example and Augsberg don't want to get rid of him just yet).

Nothing is as easy as it looks in football, if it was, everybody would be doing things right.
Not sure about this mate. I haven't included McCarthy for obvious reasons and I don't think I've missed anybody out. Plus no problems with meeting the home grown quota.

So I reckon we currently have 21 players that need to be registered, 22 if you include Garbutt. That still leaves 3 places up for grabs.

Head a and shoulders above what we have here in terms of a presence on that left side.

Allardyce knows best, let's stick with the abysmal Martina.

I don't think Allardyce, for all his faults, wants to stick with Martina.

He just probably wasn't that interested in taking a bog-standard winger with a questionable attitude and playing him at full-back?

I get where you're coming from Toff. But at the moment, a left footed player, and I mean ANY left footed player of reasonable quality, would give us more balance in the team than we have now. And if need be play him as a LWB with 3 at the back.

We are so disjointed now it's untrue and the opposition play on it.

TBH I think us going to that three at the back vs WBA is what started this whole mess in the first place :D

I hope the ones in bold are NOT with us next season. Gee, that's quite a few. Leaves us with 9 senior players I deem decent enough for our SQUAD, and a handful of kids.

The problem with 433 is it does not allow us to play Schneiderlin and Gana in the same side. Lol.

I seriously cannot understand why we dont utilise 433. The type of player we have, would best suit a 433. Midfield 3 of Siggy, Klaassen and a CDM. Play inside forwards like Koeman did i.e Sandro on left and Walcott on right.. (Lookman/Vlasic) And focus on our real problems i.e a left back and a centre back.

Deluded managers. Both completely and utterly chip fried.

Who the hell is going to cover Martina out of that lot?

I would think N'Zonzi and Gana would both play as defensive mids. Gana would probably run around like a maniac winning balls and N'Zonzi probably would sit a bit deeper like Morgan. Not sure that works as well as having someone sit in front of Gana, taking the balls he's won, and running with it up the pitch.

Either way, N'Zonzi is a massive upgrade.

Heck, Morgan can be replaced with Beni and we'd not miss a beat. But really, he should just sit and Gana should be on the field, assuming he's healthy.
I'm surprised there's not been more shouts for this tbh. During the 5 game cameo he played he was our best central midfielder in at least 2/3 of those matches. very comfortable on the ball, tenacious and can pick a pass. Above all, he wasn't phased.

Not saying he should start every game but I'd pick him ahead of that fraud who's robbing a wage from us at the moment.
