The Turkish clubs love a good loan. I remember the crap we got over Yobo with the loan with an agreement to buy at the end of it. At the end of the loan they refused to buy him but offered to loan him again later in the window which Everton like the mugs we are agreed to. I think they eventually bought him for less as through the loan they had run his contract down to make him cheaper
It's cos they're skint mate. They want nice shiny things but can't afford them so have to go around and borrow them for a bit.

...just 4 days of the window left and here’s a summary of transfer rumours for this Sunday morning;

- The Plymouth Herald report Plymouth Argyle accept full responsibility for the collapse of the loan move for 22 year old Everton midfielder Conor Grant. Argyle had announced the arrival of the player only to discover he would fall foul of the FIFA ruling of playing for more than two teams in a season.

- SportsMole website suggest Sam Allardyce is looking to offload Michael Keane before bringing in two new centre backs.

- 4th Official says West Ham, Newcastle and Burnley are possible loan destinations for Everton midfielder, Davy Klaassen.

- 4th Official also pick up reports from German news outlet, Bild, suggesting Everton are eyeing a move fo 26 year old Hoffenheim defender, Kevin Vogt.

- According to SoccerSouls website, Everton are ready to launch a bid for Chelsea’s £7.2m rated Left Back, Abdul Baba Rahman.

- FC Inter News say Everton have submitted a €16m bid for Inter Milan’s Croatian midfielder, Marcelo Brozovic. That figure is apparently half the amount of the players release clause but it’s highly unlikely anybody would be prepared to pay that for the 25 year old.

- The Daily May report West Brom Manager, Alan Pardew, saying Everton target Salomon Rondon is not for sale.

- Charlton Manager, Karl Robinson, is quoted as saying an £8m deal has not been agreed with Brighton for Everton target, Ezri Konsa.

Great job as always. Some real head scratchers today.

Selling Keane, when there are worse and older in our squad. Down on confidence, yes, but too early to bin off.

I'm hoping Klaassen gets a loan in England, I don't think Turkey will progress his future here.

A Left Back? How can that be a priority? Shaking my head here.

Rondon couldn't hit a barn door if it was tattooed on his knuckles.

I though we'd declined £5 million for Konsa, so where has £8 come from by Brighton?

Baba Rahman is still at Chelsea? Totally forgotten about him

Just read hes meant to be off to Schalke.. also Chelsea paid about 20m for him!

If we don’t get a left back in, questions must be asked of our manager and DOF whether they are fit for purpose in the roles they have. It it scandalous we have got this far into the window, with still no left back signed and Martina putting in poor performances week in week out.
While I agree about the left back situation, Allardyce is right about our bloated squad. Think it’s one of the reasons for our terrible form. There’s not enough unity within the squad. Moyes used to have about 17 main players he relied on and the team spirit then was so much better than what we’ve got at the minute.

We seem to have both a bloated squad and be about 10 first team players short of a decent side.

Bild isn't usually quite a reliable source on transfers. Vogt could be a goer then

Introducing too many new players at once was ,in my opinion, one of the main catalysts for our subsequently poor season. We have now added two forwards and apparently registered Garbutt. That’s enough.
It’s time for this mess of a manager to hitch up his britches and start earning his (considerable) corn .
