January 2019 Transfer Window

After the Anfield derby we will have played 4 of the "sky 6" all away from home, one of the remaining is against city who we actually don't have the same type of appalling record away against.

Our season and possibly transfer window ambition will be defined over Christmas and January. There is a 8 game run after spurs at goodison over that period where we should legitimately be dissapointed if we don't take three points in each.

Get a result or two in the derby, city away and spurs game then could be a very interesting season for us second half.
I was interacting with @BlueToff about this, i think we REALLY are on to something here. During intermission against Chelsea they were talking about how we were one of the few teams this season that seemed to really give Chelsea a LOT of problems. If we can stay healthy like the lot across the park do all year, I don't think "top 7" should be the aim anymore.

He was good against us, but I watched the palace spurs game on Saturday and kept an eye on him. He was ok like but nowhere near the level he was at against us, then again, he wasnt up against a 5'4" fella who's just finding his way in the league.

He was rated as Palaces best player vs spurs in a few reports.

..with the Echo quoting Silva saying Barcelona were not even willing to discuss a permanent deal. As others have pointed out, that probably refers to the summer so perhaps the situation has changed.

Depends on the accounts, I make it a negative net spend of around -140m in the last 5 transfer windows.
This seasons and next seasons accounts are expected to show losses

Are they though?

Hopefully we can sign some good corporate deals in the coming months, getting rid of Sportspesa, Umbro and Kitbag.

Arnt we suppose to be getting under armour next season?

Dont actually think we will see any in's in January, but we may see a few more outs

Holgate,Dowell & maybe even Baningime will be offered out on loan i think to top championship clubs hopefully, maybe even a Cardiff or someone
Schneiderlin we will want to get some money for, but again i can imagine teams trying to get him on loan
Oumar will be in the same boat as Schneiderlin
Browning & Galloway will be looking for permanant moves too

Rumblings that Leeds want Holgate.

Barring in mind he's from Doncaster/Barnsley area, could see it being a move that may happen. Want him to stay though because he's got real potential. He needs games though, so half-a-season there, playing under the lunatic that is Bielsa, could be really good for him.
