I'll be just as excited to see players leaving this January as I would any arriving. Schneiderlin to Monaco would make sense for all concerned, particularly if it coincided with us securing Gomes permanently. The departures of Williams, Garbutt, Martina and Bolasie would all be welcomed too.

I like Monaco so please don’t do that.

Priority is to get Gomes signed on a permanent deal.

Get Lozano if PSV will let him go mid season, if not get a deal sorted now for the summer for him. Becomes more important if in January we are within 3-4 points of 4-6th.

Third try get zouma if Chelsea won't play silly buggers over price, if not try identify a player who brings what he does to the team - namely pace at CB.

And continue to process of removing all dead wood from the team in permanent or loan deals as we have been.

With Pereiro and Bergwijn being top quality wingers I wouldn’t be surprised if they let him go in January. I’d be happy if it was even a signing but loan him back for 6 months.

Honestly don't think I would want him and that sounds mad given how many goals he scored. I just think he has regressed as a player, looks a bit heavy and might not be mobile enough.

For what he would cost I would go Lozano or similar. Pace and energy is key.

I don’t want him because he’s a t1t who spouts off to the press at every opportunity.

I’m done with those kind of people.

Contract wise.
Baines and jags finish end of this season.
Problems are Mirralas 2020, Bolasie and Schneiderlin 2021

someone might take schniderlin, the other two will be loaned until their contracts expire

Baines might get a 1 year extension, but I think we will bid a fond farewell to Jags

Mate the media stuff is part of a good Dof job remit, Walsh was noticeably not doing this.

I suppose that speculative neither of us has seen the job spec, while media itself is broad concept, is that Club related media or deciding to do a personal print copy piece.

Anyway we could go back and forth and not know either way because we are both speculating and that can vary from DOF to DOF at every club, personally i dont like it personally, i might not be right but just a personal opinion. That said it always helpful to have a stable of friendly journos, so sometimes you have to play the game.

I think Kevin won’t be shifted on perm. I do hope the other two won’t be on our books this time next year. Having Baines on for another year or two would be my preferred option, so we can see if Robinson can progress to a PL level.

His contract is till 2020.

Manchester United in September 2017
On 10 August 2016, Williams joined Everton on a three-year contract for a £12 million transfer fee.[23] He made his debut ten days later as a substitute in a 2–1 win against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns,[24] and three days after that, made his first start for Everton in a 4–0 EFL Cup win at home to Yeovil Town.[25] Williams scored his first Everton goal with an 86th-minute header to secure a 2–1 win over Arsenal on 13 December.[26] On 4 April 2017, he was sent-off at Manchester United for handling a goalbound shot by Luke Shaw, from which Zlatan Ibrahimović scored a penalty to equalise in a 1–1 draw.[27]
