Pons is a 25 year old relatively unknown with pretty mediocre stats. Hopefully he’s better than he looks on paper if brands signs him but I think we could do better with a player like Tonny Vilhenna

I’d agree on that, i don’t think he’s that stupid to make those comments, it’s clearly a strategy and marker we hold an interest in my opinion.
Price is only relevant to the value of the investment. For example was Lukaku worth 29 mill paid for him. Was Richarlson worth 30 odd, yes because they appreciated.
Scnderlin 25 mill no, Tosun same again no. Gana 7 mill, yes.
It’s not just about picking the best players it’s about picking the right investments. 30 odd million for Lozano looks a good investment, not so much on his form in Holland, but he ripped some good teams in the World Cup a new one.

Nah no more than 15-20m. £40-50m would get us someone slightly better but I don’t feel as though we will be doing that much over the next couple of seasons

I like Edin I think he is one of most underrated striker , hes never injured , speed was not hes forte anyway so I think he will play on high level few more years.
