Think it's because it looks like the big boys have kept their hands in their pockets mate, normally you get some big names moving around.

No-one wants to spend any money in January of they can help it, it has become far too expensive to spend on players other clubs don't want. For a lot of clubs they probably believe what they have is good enough to stay up and since they're no longer playing for anything it's better to spend in the summer instead. The cost of players was always going to reach breaking point.

I don’t even bother watching it now, Sky will announce signings at dinnertime and string the stories right through day/night.
Luckily Everton warned us weeks ago nothing would happen so didn’t even bother checking channel.

Selling requires a buyer though. If you were running another club would you touch any of our unwanted players without wanting to check them on loan first?
