Possibly, what I was hearing is we had made a bid, making it sound like we were going for a permanent, and the only way I could see us getting Malcolm in is either Malcolm, or Gomes on a permanent to allow a Malcolm loan, which would require us to sell a player(Lookman).

Because yes, as far as Ive read the rules, its only 1 loanee per team.

It would be a travesty to allow a promising young winger of our own leave, to then get a promising young winger on loan only to leave at the end of the season.

That's 11 players no longer good enough (some never good enough to begin with)...

Love coleman, but the leg break has clearly (and not surprisingly) effected his performance levels.... Not sure how long Baines and Jags have left on their contracts, but they are 2 of our bigger salaries, both been superb over the years but that time has come...Walcott just frustrates the crap out of me, if he wasn't blessed with pace he'd be nowhere near the premier league....

Doubt we'll do much this month, but next summer is a massive window for Brands and particularly Silva... We won't be top 4 next season either, but we have to catching the Top 6

Davies, DCL and Kenny? Makes no sense to sell. Zero market value and minimal wages recouped. Short memories on here. Davies was the new messiah after that debut season. And the clamour to get Kenny in ahead of Martina was immense. Jury out for me on DCL but there's a player in there somewhere.

Outgoings - Schneiderlin, Davies, DCL, Kenny, Jags, Walcott, Tosun. Replace with 2 or 3 quality players (ideally a RB, striker and Attacking Mid).

Remember Besic is only loaned out so we can sell Gana to PSG for 25mil and bring in Besic to play that position while using the funds to get a RB or striker.

Rodwell in particular, many people expected him to develop his game in midfield and then eventually drop into CB and be a Rio Ferdinand type player
