to be fair the new tree is like 8 foot so not some little thing.

Getting rid of a couch to make room for it, not getting picked up til 5th hence why the tree remains down.

Think I'd rather have the couch than a Xmas tree mate. One you use all year round and the other one is stupidly big and takes up far too much room and comes out for less than a month a year. Plus xmas trees are a ball ache to put up down, get out and out back in the loft. Friggin hate Xmas trees.

yeah it wasn't my decision tbh, but we have 3 couches and a small living room so will open up the room a little more after new year at least.

Was watching the Bundesliga highlights last night and the commentator mentioned that it was common knowledge in Germany that we'd done a deal for FC Koln player Anthony Modeste, and he's heading here in January.

Never heard of him before that.

Ive been betting on this guy for the past season or so, hes very consistent at scoring, missed a penalty in the last home game but responded with a 2nd half hatrick. I heard West Ham were sniffing him a few weeks ago, not heard anything about us

Modeste does have a consistent scoring record, I'll give him that.

Would make a good 2nd striker, certainly moreso than the present lot.

If Lukaku goes in the summer, we need 3 strikers between now and next August, and we badly need one in January.
