Manolas would be bonkers and surely cost upwards of 40 mil.

Although with the talk of Keane and Manolas - both right-sided CBs - I'm not sure how we'd line up. I'd have thought we'd be looking to replace Mori on the left rather than Holgate on the right.

Manolas usually plays left side though mate, even though he's right-footed.

In a three though, I agree - always better to have at least one left footer IMO.

We did not fail for Belfodil, we decided not to pursue the deal. Whether or not that was because Koeman didn't fancy him (as has been widely suggested), we'll never know for sure

ok yes that may be the case. If that is true even, we still need a striker of some sort then, which is why i think we will sign one by deadline.

It suggests we want a attacker which if that is the case then if we failed at the first attempt twice it would be a little poor on the negotiation team side would it not? This is why i have faith, we must be after one if we are bidding for them.

We didn't fail with negotiating though.

We lost out to Arsenal after agreeing a fee with Deportivo and agreeing personal terms with the player.

Belfodil is different. We agreed everything again, but Koeman wasn't convinced.

But yeh I agree on your point about having faith. We're definitely in for a forward. Whether anything comes to fruition...
