What do you make of DCL mate? Maybe Koeman feels he's a young player who with some exposure can provide what we are looking for over the next 3 months?

It's a bit difficult to draw conclusions on DCL at the minute as when he's played he's played in a variety of positions. He looked decent though and I would like to see him tried as part of a front three with Rom and Kev.

You are right and we only see bits but presumably Koeman has seen more on training. He looks like a natural second striker who can link play well.

Why all young players?

Why bother to spend big now when we can get rid of deadwood aplenty and bring in players who have 6months to push their way onto our bench next season.

Then in summer no need to worry about squad size and go after the big fish
