Is funny that we have actually looked better without Bolaise. Think the problem was when he played it was all about just getting the ball up to him, since his injury we've started playing footy a bit more, spreading the play.

I'd like to see him in this current formation I think. Reckon he'd be great.

Because we didn't keep giving an outball to a braindead player who just smashed balls into the box (or miles past it) for a laugh.

Obviously he's going to be the leading assist maker if he's the only one tasked with getting the ball into the box. That doesn't mean he was actually good at it, and our form showed that - since he's gone, we're actually playing with a bit of craft and invention.

We do next season for sure. This season though, we have an outside chance at the top six if we spent 50% over the odds for players this window - not worth the outlay.

This season was ruined before it began thanks to the summer window - no point throwing bad money after bad at this stage.

agree to an extent, but like @ijjysmith - i'd liked to have seen him playing in a side with this confidence and in this system.

All I can think is Koeman is trusting youth for the rest of the season, which in a way is good they will get game time which bodes well for the future. If west brom lose or even draw tonight we win tomorrow there's a decent gap forming. Also the players we should be after Sigurdsson,Keane,Robertson and perhaps Rooney etc won't be available now anyway.
