Agree we need leaders on the pitch (prays for a quick Besic return) don't think Schweinsteiger would be the answer though, also, didn't realise Schweinsteiger had only turned 32 the other month, always thought he was older than that.

Must be a limit on the number of Stannah Stairlifts they can fit into Finch Farm. And unless they're thinking of booking a Jumbo Jet to head for Africa in January, suggest whatever players they might target are under 30 and from any nation on earth other than an African one.

Schweinsteiger is certainly not the answer to any long term problem but he might just galvanise us for the short term. Realistically we need a goalkeeper, a centre half, two mid-fielders and a forward. That is just for the starting eleven, we then need cover.
We also need the best snake oil salesman in the world to convince other clubs that the dross we are looking rid off is worth buying.

Someone like Morgan Schniderlin in the middle of the pitch would be good, Rodriguez from Wolfsburg at Left back, an attacking midfielder like Ziyech from Ajax and a striker like Moussa Dembele from Fulham or maybe try and get someone young on loan like ienacho from Man City

Our need for competent central midfielders is urgent. Gana is off to the ACON in January, and all of our other central midfielders are nowhere near good enough. We need at least one central midfielder to be brought in during January, if not two of them.

Agree with your first two options. Dembele signed for Celtic and no way on earth would city loan us ieancho.
