honestly not arsed about fee's. aslong as whoever comes in is who walsh and the manager wants i trust them to know what players will improve everton.

Yeah people make too much out of the fee, the price isnt for us to worry about. Besides they even out, Gueye + Bolasie was worth the price even if one was a bargain and one was too much, all the counts is what they can do, not what they cost, we have a far better record of selling far too high anyway.

Still 4x more than what we paid for Del. Which is the point.

And what was it? £25mill? Kinda think thats close to £30mill.

It was £23mil.

Say £23mil. Not £30mil...

Del's not been good enough when he has played.

If he had been, he'd be playing.

He had a good second half vs Watford, and a decent 60 mins against Spurs where he missed a load of sitters, and a decent half-an-hour vs Sunderland.

Every other appearance, either as a starter or a sub, he's failed to impress.

This season.

We all know there's a player in there, but there's a reason he was only £4.5mil mate.

That's the point. Let's say he puts it together. We ALL want him to succeed. He's got like 3-4 years left on his contract, no rush to sell.

I think it would be more to do with him wanting to leave tbh mate as he ain't getting any minutes with us.

I love the kid, he's got all the tools to be a top top players but I don't think that's going to be with us. Apart from a little spell last season he just hasn't done enough when on the pitch to justify been given a run. I'd have him in the side most games compared to what we have available but it's now 3 managers who obviously don't think he's got the attitude, stomach or most importantly doesn't seem to be able to apply whatever instructions are given to him which is why they don't trust him enough to be given game time.

But the point still stands. To me hes still got more talent compared to other wingers in the league who would/have cost considerably more.

The fact we're looking at Depay (zero impact in the league) makes me personally wonder that its down to his attitude rather than skill.

Hes still rough and needs more development. But hes clearly not going to do it here.
