I don't disagree with one word here. I just love the little tyke. It's so annoying when you watch players like Barkley and Deulofeu and DESPERATELY want them too succeed here but figure it's probably going to erode up being somewhere else.

I think we may be in negotiations as no other club would be offering such amounts for him even though (at least last year and before) hes class.

We seem to have quite a few players who appear to be very talented but unable to deliver on any sort of regular basis. If we can't develop these players into players on whom we can depend then maybe it is time to try a different approach. I know teams have moved away from 2 forwards playing off each other with a mid-fielder coming in to support but it might be worth a go.
Baines is now probably no longer capable of providing width but this could be addressed in the transfer window, Coleman can still produce. We need another centre half, possibility two.
3 at the back ,5 across the middle and two up front would work if we bring in the right players.
To make this work we would probably need 6 new players, a goalkeeper, two centre halves, two mid-fielders and a forward.
Can't see that happening in January.

You're right, we should be putting a bid in for Alba or Marcelo. If that fails, a cheeky bid for Alaba
