I'm really surprised that we think we have a genuine chance of landing VVD. He must really rate Koeman and have a great relationship with him, to even consider coming here, when the likes of United and City are desperate for centre halfs.

Could be the same reason ROm has agreed a contract extension.Both have spoken to Koemi,Walsharoo and Moshiri and have been given the bigger picture.,Big funds, big players, new ground and general success.

Is there actually serious interest in Van Dijk? I know we have been linked but are we really willing to pay £50mill for him (the buyout clause rumour was thrown out)

@The Esk article in the echo says we want him. Who else are we up against that can/is willing to pay that much? And do we actually stand a chance or is Van Dijk just being polite as he knows Koeman.
