Koeman looks like he lost the players some time ago in just his first season based on the performances and results in the last 2 or 3 months.

@Eggs @The Esk , guys are we able to get an overall update on what rumblings there are transfer wise as we are less than 12 hours until the Windows creaks open.

Only seeing Lookman comments that he hasn't travelled with Charlton, what else are you guys hearing

....happy New Year, Matey. I'm genuinely not ITK, @The Esk can provide more insight than me, it looks like Lookman is a done deal and the rumours regarding Schneiderlin and Depay are strong enough to suggest there's no smoke without fire.

I was at Hull last night and Walsh looked relaxed and content, perhaps that's how he is but I hope it's a reflection that we've already done a bit of business. I post links and 99% of them will be off the mark, I suspect we'll bring in quite a few lesser known players and maybe one or two more high profile signings.

New manager bounce and players wanting to impress Koeman but that never lasts. I think a couple of players have figured out they're now past it (the Chelsea game was the beginning of the end for a few). I also think that Chelsea game knocked the confidence out of them too.

The underlying point s that the players existing or new have to buy into the manager, they do not now and may not next year.
