Surely we can get creative on this and pay for example £10million guaranteed then £100k an appearance after 40 starts Include something for goals to get the fee up to what they want even insert a % sell on.

United must realise its depay & themselves who have brought about the situation he hasn't proved it in the premier league so whilst the market has vastly inflated his value has still dropped.

Schneidrlin is different he is proven & whilst it hasn't worked out so the inflated market since his move to united means that he is still worth around what they paid for him give it take a couple million.

If united want the £25 they paid for depay back then we should 100% walk away.

....that would mean United losing lots of money if the player flops. They will probably play hard ball, remember the player was in high demand when United bought him.

He could be a good signing for us in my opinion. Never got a chance at Utd and fell out with the other players coz he was a little more arrogant than them ... Come to Goodson and score on his debut we will all love him ... Over to you Moshri !

...I'm trying not to have an opinion on players but I tend to agree with you on Depay. I liked him before he came to United. The fact he scored tap ins whilst playing out wide is always a plus for me as it demonstrates he sniffs out chances and has a desire to get on the end of things.

I can appreciate the risk, though. His salary will be significant.
