....that would mean United losing lots of money if the player flops. They will probably play hard ball, remember the player was in high demand when United bought him.
Agree but they have at this moment in time made the mistake they can't expect us to pick up he tab for that. Apart from China no team in the world will give them there money back can see this being last day of the window.

...you could be right, Simon, there might be brinksmanship at play here but I suspect any move will be in the summer.

Is anyone else getting a bit concerned about this window. A week gone and we haven't sold anyone and we have brought in one Division 1 player.
We seem to be doing an Everton over Schneiderlin, he seems to want to come, they want rid, we need him but it looks like we are doing our best to loose him.
Koeman feels the need to go to the papers to try and put pressure on the board to try and buy new players. Now we have the manager talking about what we are going in the next window.
Doesn't fill me with confidence.

Not yet no.

Spoke to him myself ....at the time said it was more or less sorted bar Everton wouldnt pay the loan fee.
Maybe City let it drag on ...I dunno.
But if Torino got him that cheap someone wants sacking from this club.
you can speak to the guy.

Everton tried to get. Most of the backroom agreed on the loan. RK wasn't a fan and was happy the Stek.

Good news here me thinks.....

West Brom have made a move for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini, according to the Mail On Sunday.

The @Mikey_Fitzgerald dream of Saido coming to Goodison could be on.....
Not to question this.

but why would anyone be happy with west brom signing a player we wanted (apparently) and then signing their cast off as a replacement?

Saido is actually quite a funny player because the longer it takes him to get a move away from West Brom, the worse of a player he appears to be!

No we are not desperate, it's a fabricated story in the press. What is wrong with some people on here?

I'm merely stating that if this were to happen, I would see it as a poor signing. Lots of threads on this forum are based upon fabricated stories in the press but it doesn't stop people being able to comment their opinions on them. There's nothing wrong with me as far as I've been told.

We all have lists of players we would like, but the facts are that unless the manager can get them working as a unit and working together with some spirit we will not progress.

Leicester showed us last year that team spirit and cohesion goes a long way. They did not have any superstars, just a bunch of decent footballers who were prepared to graft for each other and they managed to get some momentum.

The manager knows what types of players he wants, lets hope the board do not let him down again.
