Maybe Swansea accept they're going down and want to build for the future with some big money from us for their star player?

They have 15 points from 20 games and need probably another 20 - 25 points in the remaining 18 games to have a chance of survival.

You'd expect Sunderland and Palace to not get sucked into the relegation fight, while Leicester will clearly finish mid-table and Boro have some good individual that ought to see them survive.

Burnley, West Ham, Watford, Bournemouth already well clear of Swansea.

Hopeful thinking! I'd love Sigurdsson at Everton.

sig can be played wide(ish), no?

He can yes, havent seen much of him on the wing, so not sure if hes as effective? Did he play on the wing at Spurs?

I find it a strange move, not strange as in he couldnt do a job for us, he certainly can, but where does it leave Ross Barks?

He will struggle for games ahead of Sigi, he on the main is a fairly consistent player, he will struggle for games ahead of Gana and Morgs.

Suppose maybe Ross could play out wide?

Strange move, as I say, I personally couldnt fit Ross and Sigi into a formation I was totally comfortable with.

Games when we should be on the front foot could be Gana/Morgan slightly deeper than both Sigurdsson and Barkley

4-3-3 or 3-4-3

ross and sig as the two wide forwards...
