I know but some people think that Mertens is some kind of Messi. He's a good player and plays as a striker now because Miliks injury but normally they prefered Insigne instead of Mertens on the wing(most of the times).

I remember watching him when he was at PSV. Wanted us to sign him then.

But, for the price they'd want, and the fact that he's their star-man atm and probably happy at one of Italy's biggest clubs, we'd probably be better off looking elsewhere, especially as he is nearing 30.
