When you hear Mountfield talk about that he'd have paid Everton to play for them and look at deadwood players on our roster grabbing 100 times as much, it seems like the 80s are a 100 years ago in terms of attitude of the players these days

sadly, that's football now. There's no other team in the prem where this is the case and tbh we're probably the best with regards to bringing through local talent or players who really care about this club. Lost it's way in the last couple of years, ironically when we had a manager who got the club more than comparable managers.


It is a shame because we do seem to be pulling through a lot of good local talent who would fight for the shirt and if this was a yesteryear sort of era without mass money/foreigners etc. we'd be a front runner.

Koeman is still fuming about the FA Cup match 6 days later, I love it. Bet he'd personally drive some of these wasters to the airport to see them off if he had time.

He could easily just play the first 9, then drive them.

The signing of Schneiderlin is a big signing. It will help raise the profile of the club and hopefully help attract other players to the club.
If we are able to make another high profile signing in this window , I think it will make the football world sit up and there could be a knock on effect for the summer when we may be of interest to a level of player that previously might not have considered our club.
