Why do people get so upset and attack and pick on little bits of info we are given ???!!!

Why would the only info he gets is the fee and him being british based?

If it was a true enough case a journalist like paul joyce would of picked it up.

I would expect we have enquired about Keane, Manolos and VVD.

The last one getting an injury took him out of the equation so we will be working on which player and club will accept a deal.

We really do need another CD and CF and if the right player is available we will move for them now.

He has not said a british based striker, he said the cb was british based

VVD - after he mentioned it picked up a long term - 3 month injury - so yeah we where hardly going to mpush ahead with trying to sort any deal given that tuirn of events

Don't believe he has mentioned Manolas today certainly has he?

About Mertens all he stated was that we where approaching napoli to gauge there interest in any sale, never stated we had anything more than an interest in the player

On the other hand when he has stated we would get something done, Schbeiderlin (with exact fee and shirt number) and Gibson leaving to Sudnerland it's happened, he also mstated way before the rags did that Newcastel where seriously after McCarthy - which apparently they are/have been

In fairness, @MoutsGoat called the shirt thing about two weeks before the deal went through.

But we all know he was guessing...

The British CB must be Keane as we have been linked with him quite a bit now. Perhaps Jags moving the other way might sweeten the deal for Burnley, who knows?

The striker will be somebody we don't expect at all IMO. Either that or somebody we have been linked to already, such as Sebastian Haller.
