I hate to say it, but it looks like nothing is happening.

My mate at Finch Farm, was warned to work until Midnight and has just been released, along with most of his colleagues.

He also said Koeman went home at 5pm.

Read into that what you will, but I'd say it's a safe bet that we aren't signing anyone.

It is my first, it happened so quickly. I didn't even get to make a profile post. Maybe this is the test @MoutsGoat was telling me I would face.

That's my concern. When Man City were collecting forwards for fun (before they became cl regulars, but after they got rich) I doubt their fans were all wringing their hands about how their strikers would be feeling about being on the bench they just showed them the money and player after player rocked up. Clearly, we're not as rich as Citeh but I am wondering if we have the balls to really have a go at breaking the top 4.

Looking at the squad our one big problem is defending the high Cross into the box. It has been for a couple of seasons now.

I would love to unearth a 2nd striker who can work in tandem or come on for Rom, but the pool we are possibly able to attract from is simply not good enough. Buying youngsters with promise is possibly the best avenue here.

But one commanding centre back could make a difference.

Imagine 08/09 Jags and Lescott in this current side with Holgate.

Williams is great but not getting any younger sadly.

That is still the area we lack in imo.

Don't think we need to be that busy to be honest, depends how the core group go until summer but perhaps Jags & McCarthy out and a max of 4 in.
