Exactly the way I feel. He has been clinical for Burnley for a few years now. Direct and deadly. Just what we need in the worse sort of way.

Ashley Barnes is not the answer, he is decent for Burnley is improving, but for where we are supposedly aiming it’s too much of a leap.

We are still recovering from the ridiculous recruitment from our previous director of football and still need further recruits to replace the mediocrity we have.

I would also point fingers at the manager we’ve 4 points from three games against arguably very poor sides Watford can’t win for toffee Villa have just come up and out fought us and we couldn’t muster anything of note against an under strength palace..

I’d suggest a taxi moment from the goodison hierarchy with the manager before looking at players like Barnes he’s not for us

i like barnes

he is a good finisher, he is strong and physical, he's a proper snide but he's also 29 years old

but i guess people will want to aim higher and thats reasonable too

i do like a proper grock centre forward that is a nightmare to handle, similar to how wesley played against us
