Personally don't think he is ever going to reach the level that we need out of hi. Can pray he proves me wrong but he has had a few seasons now with plenty of first team football and never really looked up to it.
It's a shame because he is full of energy and when he doesn't have time to think he is actually a decent finisher. It's those few seconds he gets in front of goal that's his issue

Priorities for me are a left footed centre back and a left footed winger. If we can shift Tosun and Schneiderlin I would also like a defensive midfielder and a striker.

I would like 2 players in every position. At the minute we have Gbamin and Schneiderlin. That is why I am saying if we move Schneiderlin on.

If we get an injury to either Holgate is in the team and we would have no recognised senior CB as back up. This is definitely a priority for me.

I would be wanting a player who is capable of playing in the first team. Would have to earn their place. We had 3 players competing last season. Its important to have 2 players in every position if you want a decent squad. So to cover 2 CB positions we need 4 players currently we have 3.

You’re basically talking rubbish. We had 3 international CB last season and a former international in jags as well on the bench. We have a World Cup winning RB sitting on the bench now. There will be times season when the likes of Gomes, Delph, Bernard & siggurdsson will be on the bench.
All of them are or have been internationals.

I disagree. If one of Keane or Mina are injured, we will be definitely getting a CB, maybe only on loan but still we will get one. Good chance even if we don’t get injuries.
Also say we are top 6 and only a few points of top 4. It maybe a great chance to attract a certain type of player that we couldn’t in the summer. Just because he hasn’t made signings in jan before, means nothing imo. And he’s only had one January window in England.
He’s on record about the January window.
Unless there is a long term injury in a position with no cover we won’t be signing anyone. The certain type of player available in January is not the type you want.
